British Royal Army Artillery Officer Home Service Helmet

The cork helmet is covered in black wool with brass front plate and fittings, all of which exhibit a dark and uncleaned patina. The wool cover shows dust and age, as well as an area of wear or tracking on the right rear side, but it is without damage or repairs. The interior leather sweatband is intact. The interior shell of the helmet retains the retailer label. The helmet is lacking the chain link chin strap. Overall very good  condition.
