Boxed Unused WWII Japanese Gas Mask Set

The boxed gas mask set is comprised of the mask and hose as well as the filter canister. The gas mask was clearly never assembled during the war. The gas mask lenses have clouded somewhat with age, with one lens being almost completely dark, and with both lenses showing cracks. The mask itself and the hose remain pliable and quite clean, with the cardboard stiffener still being in place inside of the face mask. The cork stopper in the top of the canister in intact. The canister itself retains its original protective tissue wrapping and the canister was obviously never connected to the hose. The set is contained within its original cardboard box, with the box showing age and wear but being generally complete and intact.
