Boxed and Cased 1914 Iron Cross First Class

A beautiful example of the first class 1914 Iron Cross, with excellent paint and a dark, uncleaned patina to the silver frame. The cross is within its presentation case and this in turn is still inside of the cardboard shipping box. The interior catch for the lid of the case is gone so that, while the lid closes nicely, it does not snap shut. The case, like the cross itself, looks splendid, with a deep purple velvet lining. The exterior shipping box shows some signs of age but it is complete, with no tears or missing pieces.
