Berlin Marked Third Reich German 24 inch Railway Eagle

The eagle has a wingspan of approximately 24 inches, and measures approximately 13 inches high. The four attachment lugs remain intact on the reverse. The rear of the eagle carries a foundry mark and the designations of “LOK 600” and “GAL-Mg. Si”. The eagle also carries an impressed designation of “Berl”, reflecting production in Berlin. The eagle shows the expected surface dirt, verdigris, spots from use and one edge chip which I have pictured.
