Bar Mounted Three Medal 92nd Highlanders Afghanistan Group with “Kabul to Kandahar Star” and Research

The bar mounted group is comprised of the Queen’s Afghanistan Medal with the bars “Kandahar”; “Kabul”; and “Charasia”; the Kabul to Kandahar Star; and the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. The medals are named to “1456 Private J. Fitzgerald 92nd Highlanders”. The Afghanistan Medal shows pitting to the surfaces. The other two medals are in very good condition. The group is accompanied by seven pages of research from the British National Archives which detail the service of Private James Fitzgerald, noting the service in Afghanistan and the award of the three medals in the group.
