The cross is constructed on a field gray wool base for wear on the Army or Waffen SS uniform. The cross is in excellent condition, with full paper backing. The circular gold frame exhibits the die flaw at the top of the number “9” in “1941” that is a characteristic of many cloth German Crosses.
