The edges of the cross show a bit of wear but there are no holes to suggest that the cross was ever worn on a uniform. The gilt metal wreath shows light signs of age and toning. The paper backing on the reverse is partially intact, and bears the manufacturer label of the firm of C.A. Westmann of Dresden. Overall very good to excellent condition.
