A large flight jacket patch for the 1521st Base Unit of the Army Air Force. Fully embroidered on wool felt with a twill backing. Approximately 5 inches in diameter. There is a tiny moth nip to the edge on one side, as well as a small hole, about the size of a pencil eraser, on the blue wool in front of the nose of the plane. There is a bit of residue on the surface at the tail of the plane as well.
