A Pair of Named Third Reich 1st Pioneer Battalion Reservist Stein and Pilsner Glass for the Same Man


The half liter porcelain stein is approximately 12 inches tall, with a lithopane base. The stein is named to Gefreiter Fassl, who served in the unit from April 1 of 1936, until July 31 of 1936. The stein is Third Reich era but was created in the style of Imperial era steins. The stein shows some signs of age but it is in near mint condition, without chips or cracks. The Pilsner glass is approximately 8-1/4 inches tall, and it is also named to Gefreiter Fassl of the first pioneer battalion, with the same dates of service as the stein. The glass is without chips or cracks, while showing dirt and grime.
