A 1928 Art Book From the Library of a Norwegian Waffen SS Member

The book is titled “Kunst Og Kunstnere” (Norwegian for “Art and Artists”). Published in Oslo, Norway, in 1928. Approximately 6-3/4 inches by 8-3/4 inches. 140 pages, The inside cover has the book plate of “Olav Eide Jr”, which displays the cross emblem of the “Nasjonal Samling” (“National Gathering”), Norway’s Nazi Party, as well as a German helmet bearing the insignia of the Waffen SS. The front page also has the handwritten notation of “Sons of Norway Library” as well as “Gift of Estate of Arne B. Holt 5/97”. The covers show wear and the pages are age toned, but the book is complete and intact and in overall very good condition.
