5/23/1941 Army Air Force Pilot Identity Bracelet Tag
The 1 1/2 inch long tag from a World War II period pilot’s identification bracelet. The front has a pair of pilot wings, engraved above which is “U.S.A. Air Corps”. Below the wings is engraved “5-23-1941” and “Augustus J. Theodore.” On the reverse of the tag is engraved “Orange N.J.” and Theodore’s service number.
