493rd Bomb Group “Jaurez” Style Bombardier Wings

A sterling silver Army Air force Bombardier wing in the oversized “Jaurez” style. The wings have a span of 3 1/4 inches against the normal 3 inch wingspan of the standard wings. The “Jaurez” style wings are approximately 1 inch wide in the center. They are marked “Sterling” on the reverse. The wings are pin back and lack the drop in safety catch. The wings are finely engraved on the reverse, with “Helton’s Hellcats” on the back of one wing and “493rd Bomb Group” on the back of the other wing. Excellent condition.
