2nd Division 1st Signal Battalion M1917 Combat Helmet

Model 1917 combat helmet with the painted insignia of the front of the 1st Signal Battalion of the 2nd Division. The design is that of the 2nd Division star and Indian head on a red shield. The insignia shows some wear. The exterior combat paint is largely intact. There are some smooth spots on the helmet where the sand infused finish was worn down from use in combat. The helmet is complete with the liner. The chin strap is gone. Very good combat used condition.
