1956 Air Force 465th Tactical Hospital Souvenir Stein
Approximately 10 inches tall, and interestingly named to a Robert Ryzner of the Merchant Marine. The central medical insignia is flanked by a color rendering of the Air Force crest and by the insignia of the 465th Troop Carrier Group. Circa 1956, since the group insignia was approved in 1955. The lid is a bit loose. The retailer’s silver foil label is affixed to the stein. The thumb lift is the Air Force crest and the base is a naked lady lithopane. The stein has surface dust and dirt which should wash off without too much difficulty.
