1945 Dated U.S. Army Barber Field Kit

The field barber kit is completely contained within its original box, measuring approximately 14 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches by 6 1/4 inches in size. The kit appears almost entirely intact, including two hair clippers (scissors), two barber shears, two U.S. Army combs, two shaving brushes, bars of shaving soap, two straight razors, and a number of other implements. The only items that appear to be lacking, based on the “List of Contents” inside the lid, are two “Cloths, Barber”. The aluminum shaving basin within the kit is dated 1945. Overall the kit is in excellent condition, and the implements appear to have never been used. Contained within the kit is a World War II military photo identification card for the wife of a Navy Commander at the Philadelphia Navy Yard.
