1944 Poster: School Fundraising to Purchase an Army Field Ambulance

Approximately 25-3/8 inches by 37-1/2 inches. The poster shows typical fold lines but makes an excellent appearance. The poster has open spaces beneath the artwork of an Army field ambulance. As the students raised money to purchase components of the ambulance, a picture of that component would be placed into one of the empty spaces. When the entire ambulance was paid for, a placard bearing the name of the school was to be placed in the new ambulance. This poster is accompanied by a photographic parts sheet, although this sheet depicts the components of an army jeep, and it was to be used on a similar poster that would have been placed in a school to raise funds from students to purchase a jeep.
