1944 Poster School Fundraising Poster: “Help Equip G.I. Joe with Your War Savings”

Approximately 28 inches by 40 inches. Horizontal format. The poster shows typical fold lines. The poster was intended to be used in a school to raise funds for the war, with the incentive that, as the students raised money, articles of the soldier’s equipment (which all have prices on them) would be removed from the right side of the poster and placed on the soldier in the main image. A thermometer on the left allowed the school to chart the fund raising effort. The poster was never used and makes an excellent appearance.
