1944 German Army Mounted Cavalry Medical Pouch

A nice example of the leather pouch used by the German Army cavalry to carry medical supplies while mounted. The pouch is in a medium brown leather and is approximately 10 inches long by 7 inches wide by 3 inches deep. It has two covered compartments for carrying medical supplies. The leather is marked with a manufacturer code of “dny”, dated 1944, and waffenamt marked. The pouch has some spots from use but is in overall very good field used condition.
