1943 Dated Japanese Army Summer Tanker Helmet

The lighter weight, fabric covered, helmet was worn by Japanese Army tank crew personnel in summer periods or in tropical climates. The helmet is in excellent used condition. The leather Imperial Army star is affixed to the front. There are a few exterior spots but overall the helmet is quite clean. The full “Y” harness leather chin strap system is complete and intact. The interior shows relatively light use, and there are several issue stamps present on the liner, including the issue stamp with a 1943 date (Shows 18).
