1943 Dated Japanese Army EM/NCO Canteen

The canteen is a classic mid war example, when the metal cap had been replaced by a wooden stopper, and all leather straps and metal buckles were eliminated as a meqasure to conserve strategic materials. The base is marked “Showa 18”, or 1943. The shoulder strap also has issue stamps. Overall very good field used condition.
