1943 Dated German K98 Combat Bayonet by Josua Corts with Frog

The blade of the bayonet shows wear to the finish, with spots and some pitting. The ricasso is marked “43ddl”, reflecting production in 1943 by the firm of Josua Corts. The opposite side of the ricasso is marked “133 d”. The throat of the bayonet scabbard is numbered “3560”. The grips are without chips, damage or cracks. The guard and the pommel retain much of the finish, with the pommel bearing waffen amt markings. The frog exhibits relatively light wear to the finish. The leather frog is dry but it is complete and intact. Overall very good condition.
