1942 Luftwaffe Ehrenpokal Honor Goblet to Oberfeldwebel Heinrich Schwingen

The Ehrenpokal is approximately 8 inches tall, with a base diameter of approximately 3-3/4 inches, with the interior base being marked as “feinsilber Alpaka”. The goblet is named to Oberfeldwebel Heinrich Schwingen, with an award date of September 12, 1942. Schwingen was a Bordmechaniker (Flight Engineer) who most likely served in a bomber unit. The interior of the base is marked “Feinsilber Alpaka Auflage” and it is also maker marked by the firm of “Joh. Wagner & Sohn”, the only firm that produced the Luftwaffe Honor Goblet. The goblet shows a fine and uncleaned patina and it is without dents or damage, presenting an exceptionally impressive appearance.
