The signal pistol is marked “SIGNAL PISTOL MARK 5 R.F. SEDGLEY INC. 1942” on the top of the barrel. The serial numbers have been removed. The grips are marked “USN” on both sides. The pistol shows scattered blemishes to the finish. The pistol is accompanied by its canvas web holster which is marked “SIGNAL PISTOL HOLSTER Mk. 5” on the reverse.
