1942 Dated K98 Combat Bayonet by Josua Corts with Frog

The blade retained most of the finish, showing some wear but without nicks, chips or rust. The blade bears the maker mark of “42ddl”, reflecting production in 1942 by the firm of Josua Corts. The grip plates are also without chips or cracks. The guard and pommel show some spots of light surface rust, with the pommel having a waffen amt mark. The ricasso of the blade is serial numbered, while the scabbard is without any serial number. The scabbard exhibits wear to the finish as well as spots of  surface rust. The frog shows surface wear and is complete and intact.
