1940 Promotion Document Signed by Adolf Hitler and Army CIC Walther von Brauchitsch – To Panzer General Werner Kempf Oakleaves Awardee

The document is approximately 8-1/4 inches by 11-5/8 inches. The document shows age toning. It is dated December 30, 1940 and it announces that, effective on January 1, 1941, Major Generals Erwin Vierow and Werner Kempf (a panzer commander) were promoted to Lieutenant General. The document is signed by Adolf Hitler at the Fuhrer’s Headquarters, and it was countersigned by Field Marshal Walther von Brauchitsch, Commander in Chief of the German Army. The document bears a large impressed eagle and swastika seal. Major General Erwin Vierow was awarded the Knights Cross November 15, 1941,   Major General Werner Kempf was awarded the Knight’s Cross June 3, 1940 and the Oakleaves August 10, 1942.   The document is in very good condition.
