1940 Gau Bayern State Shooting Prize Stein with a U-Boat and the German Cruiser Graf Spee

The half liter stoneware stein is approximately 5-1/4 inches tall, exclusive of the thumb lift. The stein bears the designation of the “Marine Kameradschaft”, or German Naval Veterans Association, together with “Landespreisschiessen Gau Bayern 1940”, meaning a State Shooting Prize of Gau Bavaria in 1940. The lid shows patina and the base has a maker mark. The stein has images of a U-Boat and the German cruiser “Graf Spee”. The stein is in excellent condition, without chips or cracks.
