1940 Dated Sheet Bronze Plaque for a Donation to the Swiss Nation and the Red Cross

The sheet bronze plaque is fitted to a wooden backing and it is approximately 9-3/4 inches by 9-3/4 inches. The front base of the plaque is signed “H.J. Huguenin”. The reverse side has a small, multi language plaque bearing the dedication in French of “Pour Le Don National Suisse Et La Croix Rouge” (“For the Swiss National Donation and the Red Cross”), with the date of 1940. The plaque retains its original finish and it makes an excellent appearance
