1939 Third Reich Police Officer’s Commission Signed by Heinrich Himmler with JSA Letter of Authenticity

The large document is a heavy, folded folio, which is approximately 9 7/8 by 13 7/8 inches when closed, and 19 3/4 inches by 13 7/8 inches when open. The document has a light horizontal crease and two holes near the top and bottom edges for placement in a file. The document appoints Rudolf Malzahn as an Oberleutnant of the Schutzpolizei and it is signed “Himmler” who was Reichsfuhrer SS, Chief of the German Police, and Minister of the Interior. The document has a large impressed seal with a political eagle and swastika. The document shows some age toning. The document is accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication.
