1939 Iron Cross Second Class Marked “106” (Brüder Schneider A.G.)

The Iron Cross shows some minor scratches and spots on the matte black paint of the iron core, but generally the paint is intact and complete. The silver frame is bright. The suspension ring bears the LDO manufacturer code of “106”, reflecting production by the Vienna firm of Brüder Schneider A.G. The medal is accompanied by a clean length of folded ribbon as well as the front section of the manufacturer’s envelope (and not the complete envelope).
