1939 Iron Cross First Class Marked “L15” (Otto Schickle) with Horizontal Pin

The matte black paint on the iron core shows age and surface dirt, but it is generally intact. The silver frame shows an uncleaned patina. The surface of the pin is marked as “L15”, reflecting production by the firm of Otto Schickle. Interestingly, this Iron Cross had the pin mounted in a horizontal, rather than vertical, position. Overall very good condition.
