A solid Wound Badge from which the gold finish showing wear, leaving the badge with a mostly copper color. The remnants of the original gold finish can be seen on and around the pin hinge , catch and with traces on the face. Both the pin and the badge itself bear the Prasidialkanzlei number of “26”, indicating manufacture by the firm of B. H. Mayer’s Kunst-prageanstalt of Pforzheim.
