The porcelain half liter stein is approximately 5 inches tall, exclusive of the thumb lift. The stein depicts a group of Germans in traditional dress walking to Munich, with the wording of “Ober-Untermenzing Allach Ludwigsfeld, Solln-1938”. The stein is in excellent condition, without cracks or damage, while showing some surface flakes on the handle and minor wear on the bottom edge. Made to commerate the expansion of Munich incorporating the towns of Obermenzing, Untwemenzing, Allach, Ludwigsfeld and Solle on Dec 1, 1938.
