1938 Dated Unit Marked Army Panzer EM/NCO Visor Cap

The tellerform cap is constructed of a fine quality ribbed field gray wool blend, with the cap peak and cap band being piped in pink. The body of the cap is exceptionally clean, being without stains, holes or damage. The surface of the visor has dulled a bit with age, but it is without cracks or crazing. The full lining is present, lacking the celluloid sweat shield. The cap lining is marked as an unusually large size “60”, and the lining bears two stamps of the unit in which the owner served. The full leather sweatband is intact, and the underside of the sweatband is manufacturer marked and dated 1938. Overall the cap is in excellent condition and it makes a very fine appearance.
