1938 Dated RAD Labor Service Parade Shovel

The parade shovel with a plated blade is approximately 43 inches in length. The shovel is the type that can be seen in Third Reich period photographs when carried by RAD members in parade formations, including at the Nuremberg rallies. Both the wooden handle and the blade bear manufacturer marks and RAD marks, including the date of 1938. The shovel shows age and patina, but overall it is in very good condition.
