1938 Dated Army EM/NCO Panzer Grenadier Visor Cap by Clemens Wagner

The teller form visor cap is constructed of ribbed wool material with a dark green wool cap band. The surface of the leather visor shows some scratches and scuffs, with the leather chin strap exhibiting age crazing. The piping shows some fading but the piping that was protected from sunlight by the overhanging areas displays the green color of the Panzer Grenadier troops. The exterior of the cap body shows age and use but it is without holes or damage. The interior leather sweatband shows wear but it is intact. The underside of the sweatband is manufacturer marked by the firm of Clemens Wagner and bears the date of 1938. Overall very good condition.
