1936 Dated Named and Unit Marked German Army Artillery EM/NCO Visor Cap
$625.00
The ribbed wool visor cap is piped in red to reflect service in the artillery branch and it displays a fine saddle shape. The chin strap has age cracks and the surface of the visor exhibits some fine age crazing. The body of the cap has a few small bites to the field gray wool and to the piping in some spots, but the cap makes a very fine appearance. The interior lining of the cap is intact, with the full leather sweatband being present, and with the interior of the cap showing typical signs of use and wear. Beneath the sweatband is the unit stamp of Artillery Regiment 67. The underside of the sweatband also has a manufacturer stamp and the date of “36”. The celluloid sweat shield is present, beneath which is the name tag of the soldier who owned the cap. The lining is stamped as a size 57-1/2. Overall the cap is in very fine condition and it makes an excellent appearance.
