1936 Dated Luftwaffe Tunic of an Oberfeldwebel in a Flight Training Regiment

The tunic is tailored in a fine quality wool of Luftwaffe blue gray. The collar and the shoulders have the rank insignia of an Oberfeldwebel, with the collar tabs being a golden yellow base and with the collar itself and the shoulder straps piped in golden yellow as well, to indicate a flight unit of the Luftwaffe. On the upper right breast is an early Luftwaffe drop tail NCO eagle, showing some spots and a bit of age toning. The interior is fully lined with a dagger hanger. The interior lining is also dated 1936 and it is further marked to Luftwaffe “Fl. Ausb. Rgt. 72” (“Flieger Ausbildung”, or “Flight Training” Regiment 172. The tunic is exceptionally clean, without holes, stains, damage, or any signs of significant wear or use. Overall the tunic is in excellent condition and it makes a very impressive appearance.
