1935 DDAC Member Road Event Participation Plaque

A participation plaque for a 1935 German Automobile Society road event in Thuringen. Approximately 2 1/4 by 3 inches in size, single sided with a matte gray finish. The plaque has two holes to permit it to be mounted on the dashboard of the NSKK member’s vehicle as evidence of his participation in the event. Very good condition.
This NSKK medal was one of several NSKK pieces that were among the effects of NSKK member and Army Officer Gerhard Haeublein, who was killed in action on September 7, 1939, while serving with an armored reconnaissance unit. His father was Army General Georg Haeublein.
