1918 Hesse-Darmstadt Silver Bravery Medal with Award Document

The award document is dated 11 October of 1918, one month before the end of World War I. The document is approximately 7-3/4 inches by 10-1/8 inches. The document shows fold lines and a small hole in the center. The reverse side bears an inked notation and stamp. The medal itself is in excellent condition, with a very dark and uncleaned patina. The set also includes the cardboard envelope for the medal, which has a small hole in the front and a horizontal tear on the reverse. Overall the set is in very good condition.
