1918 Dated U.S. Army Model 1917 Bolo Fighting Knife in 1918 Dated L.F. & C. Scabbard

The blade of the Bolo knife shows wear to the finish and some surface rust. The ricasso bears the visible date of 1918 on one side, below indistinct markings. The reverse side of the ricasso shows indistinct markings. The wood grip shows age and wear, and there is a crack on one side between the grip rivet and the pommel. The metal scabbard shows intact paint and it is manufacturer marked by L.F. & C. and dated 1918.
