1918 Dated Model 1917 Bolo Knife by Plumb

The bolo knife has a blade with a Parkerized finish that is largely intact, showing only typical in-and-out wear marks and small spots of surface rust scattered on the blade.The ricasso bears the “U.S. Model 1917” designation on one side, while the opposite side bears the date of 1918 and the name of the Plumb firm. The wood grip shows age toning but it is without chips or cracks. The guard and the pommel exhibit a dark, uncleaned patina. The canvas and leather scabbard shows some spots, but it is generally clean and it is without damage. The leather scabbard base is manufacturer marked and dated 1918. Overall excellent condition.
