1918 Dated German Artillery Luger Holster

Red brown leather holster for the artillery model Luger pistol. The holster is marked for military district depot VIII on the interior of the flap and it is dated 1918. The holster includes compartments for the stripping tool and cleaning rod, neither of which are present. The interior quick release strap is present but has become detached from the interior of the holster.
