1915 Dated Unit Marked Imperial Prussian EM/NCO Pickelhaube

The exterior leather body of the helmet shows age crazing and typical scratches, but the helmet is in generally good polish, somewhat toned with age. The Prussian eagle wappen plate is retained though two holes in the front of the helmet, with the plate showing loss of most of the matte gray finish. The front visor edge, the spike, the spike base, and the rear spine all show a dark patina. The front visor has a loss of some stitching but the visor remains secure on the helmet body. The leather chin strap is present on the helmet. The Prussian and national colors cockades are replacements. The interior liner shows wear but it is intact. The interior of the rear visor us dated 1915 and it is marked to the 3rd Battalion of the 66th Reserve Infantry Regiment. Overall very good condition.
