1915 Dated Imperial German Wurttemberg Line Infantry Regiment Officer Visor Cap

The cap is constructed of a fine quality dark blue wool top and red cap band, both piped in red. The front of the cap exhibits officer style national colors and Wurttemberg cockades. The surface of the visor shows fine age crazing and a spot of disturbance of the surface. The body of the cap has several small scattered holes or tracking. The interior of the cap a full white silk lining and light leather sweatband, both of which show spots from wear. The lining has what appears to be a name written on it as well as th date of “1915”. Overall the cap is in very good condition and makes a fine appearance.
