1915 Dated Imperial Baden Feldmutze Marked to the 111th (3rd Baden) Infantry Regiment “Margrave Ludwig William”

The feldmutze is constructed of field gray wool with a red wool cap band and red piping. The mutze is exceptionally clean, showing some subtle spots and signs of relatively light wear but without holes, damage or repairs. The front displays both the national colors and the Baden colors cockades. The interior bears a 1915 dated depot stamp as well as the stamp indicating use by the 111th (3rd Baden) Infantry Regiment “Margrave Ludwig William”.  The interior also has what appears to be a manufacturer’s stamp as well as a size stamp of “57”. This has had a line written through the stamp and there is a handwritten notation of “56”. Overall excellent condition.
