1914 Iron Cross Second Class by Königliches Münzamt Orden

The Iron Cross shows some wear to the black paint on the iron core, but the paint is largely intact. The silver frame shows a dark and uncleaned patina. The suspension ring bears the “KO” maker mark of the Königliches Münzamt Orden. The decoration is on a parade mount, with the medal having been mounted backwards so that the “1813” date is facing the front. Very good condition.
