The blade of the bayonet is generally quite clean, showing age and patina. The wood grips exhibit age but they are without chips or cracks. The ricasso bears a broad arrow markand both the ricasso and the upper scabbard fitting show the “X” bend test mark. The leather scabbard shows scuffs and abrasions, but the scabbard is complete and intact. Overall the bayonet is in very good field used condition.
