The stein is approximately 10 inches tall, including the thumb lift. The stein has a pewter lid and base ring, with the lid engraved with numbers and what are presumably the initials of the owner. The stein has a tight hairline crack on the side that is approximately 2 inches long. The stein shows age, but it makes a very good appearance.
