1863 Brass Kittredge & Company Cartridge Box

The Kittredge cartridge containers were used with Frank Wesson rifles and Henry rifles. The lid is manufacturer marked by Kittredge & Company, and bears the patent date of 1863. The exterior shows uncleaned patina and verdigris. The reverse retains a section of leather belt within the brass belt loops.
