The porcelain stein is approximately 11 inches tall, inclusive of the thumb lift. The stein has a pewter lid and base ring, with the lid bearing the engraved date of 1798 and what appears to be a name. The lid and base show age patina, while the body of the stein shows a few tiny flakes to the surface but it is in very good condition and without chips or cracks.
